Multi-tasking journalism is an understanding based on the necessity of being a professional who has enough knowledge to be reporter, photographer, video-news expert, editor, and a newswriter.
International News Academy is a modern news academy based on understanding of international journalism that comprises doyen journalists and distinguished academicians.
Today, nature of the news and journalism profession is changing rapidly and differences between missions of professionals who have different tasks lose their significance. “One-way journalism” has yielded up to “multi-tasking journalism” which is competent in all concepts related the news, technologies and practice techniques.
Starting from this point of view, International News Academy aims to train journalists who get up to date, have the understanding of multi-tasking journalism and competent.
It is aimed to prepare the participants to the sector with a curriculum including basic journalism, techniques and practices of photo-video journalism and new media by reflecting on the technological developments and new possibilities offered by the globalizing world.
For this purpose, International News Academy aims to journalists to reach the highest level of knowledge about their field of expertise, transfer of methods and experiences that will enable them to access the up-to-date sources and collect news; to provide the news to the reader in a true, fast, complete and comprehensible manner.
Another goal is to be a news academy that graduates reporters, cameramen and photo-reporters based on seminars given by mentors that focus on specific points of journalism.
